Sales Development Representative (SDR)

AngelList

San Francisco, US · Full-time · $90,000 – $120,000

About this role

We're building the SDR function from scratch at AngelList, the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. You'll own the first impression with prospects, design the system, and make AEs dramatically more effective using every tool, including AI. Report to our Head of Sales and sit between marketing and sales, unlocking the right GPs building the future of private markets.

Own inbound and outbound qualification with speed and rigor, running first conversations that uncover real business need and set AEs up to close. Design the qualification framework with questions, signals, and criteria that move deals forward. Build and manage the SDR tech stack from sequencing to AI-assisted workflows, tracking pipeline quality metrics shared with marketing.

Work with a team that values precision, urgency, and long-term thinking in offices in San Francisco and New York City. Hybrid in-office model requires at least 2 days per week, Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday. We support $171B+ in assets and have powered investments into over 13,000 startups.

Shape how this function grows; the systems you build will define how we scale. There's no playbook—you'll write it, measuring results not activity. If excited to build the future of private markets, come build with us.
