About this role
Franki is an AI-powered startup transforming how people discover and choose where to eat, drink, and explore. Our platform is built on video recommendations from a passionate community of creators and dining enthusiasts. We’re seeking an Account Executive (SMB) to commercialize hospitality businesses on our platform through inside sales.
You will prospect for new clients in the local independent hospitality sector and qualify leads by assessing needs and product fit. Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals using cold calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings. Manage a book of business with disciplined pipeline tracking to maximize retention and revenue per customer.
Join a fast-moving, high-ownership team that values creativity and execution in a dynamic category. Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and team members to align strategies and share best practices. Work remotely across the US, primarily in PST time zone, with travel for company kick-offs and mid-year meetings.
Become an expert in Franki’s products and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to leadership and product teams. Candidates in Texas or California will receive first consideration. Thrive if you have strong ideas and make them happen in a fun, energetic brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of outbound sales experience
- 1+ year of outbound sales experience, ideally in the hospitality sector
- Proficiency in G-suite products and email communication
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar sales CRM systems
- Proven track record of exceeding quota
- Experience working at a food-focused consumer technology company
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients within the local independent business sector, with a specific focus on hospitality
- Qualify potential clients by assessing their needs and fit with Franki's suite of products
- Maximize customer retention to minimize churn and increase revenue per customer
- Manage and nurture a book of business with disciplined pipeline management
- Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, primarily through inside sales techniques
- Become an expert in Franki's suite of products and services for the hospitality sector
- Gather and provide feedback to leadership and product teams on market trends and customer needs
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales and team to align on strategies and meet sales targets
