About this role
PadSplit is hiring an Account Executive to expand our marketplace by engaging traditional property owners to become PadSplit Hosts. This role is critical in helping homeowners unlock additional income by listing their properties. It addresses housing affordability by creating more shared housing opportunities in the San Francisco market.
Day-to-day involves prospecting and qualifying leads through research on potential property owners. Conduct outreach via cold calling, emailing, and networking, then host discovery calls to understand needs and goals. Deliver tailored value propositions highlighting superior rental income compared to traditional rentals.
Build and nurture trust-based relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to address concerns. Tailor hosting solutions with financial modeling and compliance checks, then close deals by guiding owners through onboarding. Thrive in a remote, fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with onboarding teams for smooth transitions and track metrics in CRM systems. Stay updated on real estate market trends and legislative changes to refine pitches. Make an impact on the affordable housing crisis, one room at a time.
Requirements
- Proven success in B2B or B2C sales, particularly in real estate or property management sectors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with property owners
- High self-motivation and independence to thrive in a remote startup environment
- Adaptability and problem-solving to overcome objections and tailor solutions
- Knowledge of real estate markets and dynamics
- Experience delivering tailored value pitches on rental income models
- Comfort with cold calling, emailing, and networking outreach
- Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking sales activities
