About this role

Valerie Health is the AI front office for independent provider groups, reimagining how independent practices operate by using AI to modernize patient/provider communication, enhance care, and drive operational efficiencies. The Chief of Staff will be a force multiplier for our CEO, partnering closely to drive strategic and operational activities including core operating cadence, special projects, and investor relations. This role suits those who want to build a mission-driven company from the ground up with experienced leaders and great investors.

You will serve as a sparring partner to the CEO on corporate strategy, including product definition, target customers, and team. Support go-to-market efforts by joining sales meetings, preparing materials, and leading customer efforts. Run critical projects from 0 to 1, stand up internal efforts like partnerships, and drive business operations such as board memos and team offsites.

The team is led by Pete Shalek (2x health tech exits, including $600M acquisition by Optum) and Nitin Joshi (scaled Uber Eats + Health, Stripe Connect, Bridge acquired by Stripe for $1.1B). Beyond founders, DNA from Uber, Stripe, Meta, high-growth unicorns, and top consulting firms. Partner closely with all team members to provide context and build culture.

We partner with leading independent specialty groups, automating hundreds of thousands of tasks monthly, with revenue doubling quarter-over-quarter and on track for ~7x growth this year, plus 300% net revenue retention. Raised $39m from Redpoint Ventures, General Catalyst, Primary Ventures, and BoxGroup.
