About this role
Calm is a leading consumer mental health company with its flagship app ranked #1, boasting over 180 million downloads in seven languages across 190 countries. We're seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, an individual contributor, to build and manage lifecycle marketing and automation for Calm Health. This role focuses on strategizing communication journeys, testing creative, and driving efficiency for business and human impact.
You'll code and maintain responsive email templates using HTML and CSS for optimal performance across devices. Set up and maintain campaigns in Iterable, including segmentation, QA, scheduling, and post-send analysis. Track performance in Looker, Mode, or Amplitude to provide actionable insights.
Create audience segments using behavior, demographic, and healthcare data for personalized content. Manage projects in Jira or Asana across campaigns and domains. Collaborate closely with product, marketing, customer support, and business development teams to align with business objectives.
Design A/B tests and retention strategies to boost customer lifetime value. Work remotely in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. Join a TIME100 Most Influential Company transforming mental health access for millions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of email/automation/lifecycle marketing experience
- Experience creating user acquisition and/or engagement communication journeys via multiple channels including email, notifications, and SMS
- Experience in HTML/CSS/responsive email design
- Extensive experience operating in ESP platforms like Iterable
- Proficiency tracking metrics in analytics tools such as Looker, Mode, or Amplitude
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven experimentation
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana
Responsibilities
- Code and maintain high-quality, responsive email templates using HTML and CSS
- Assist in setup and maintenance of email and push campaigns in Iterable, including segmentation creation, QA, scheduling, and post-send analysis
- Monitor campaign performance metrics in Looker, Mode, and/or Amplitude, providing actionable insights
- Create and manage audience segments based on behavior, demographic, and healthcare data
- Use project management tools like Jira or Asana to organize multiple campaigns and drip programs
- Design and implement A/B tests to optimize email performance
- Work closely with product, marketing, customer support, and business development teams
- Develop and implement retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value
